TOPIC: use animate it! to give my logo motion

use animate it! to give my logo motion 8 years 10 months ago #169

I am trying to add some animate.css to my Wordpress site using your plugin. I would like to animate the logo and eventually other parts of my site.
I have tried several options including manually adding the animate.css file directly to my site from github and adding the code to the functins.php file.

Now I am trying to use your plugin to help facilitate the removal of this obstacle. With that said, I have uploaded your plugin..Now What? Do I still need to add the animate.css code to the actual files or can I do that directly from your plug in..

Please help as I am still relatively new to this process..

Dear Mike,

Thanks for using Animate It! You can use the plugin animation either using Shortcodes, or adding animate classed to div tag(s). In order to animate your logo (assuming you'll be using widget position to display it), here's an example of code, e.g. :

Animating using DIV tags:
<div class=" animated fadeInDown delay1">
    <img src="path-to-your-logo" />
</div>
Example of logo animation on sidebar here: http://animateit.wpdevcloud.com/

You can test and generate the classes according to your requirement using our class generator:
http://www.downloads.eleopard.in/class-generator-wordpress.html

Another much easier way is to just copy and paste the classes in the "Animate It Classes" input, Step by step guide can be found here:
http://www.downloads.eleopard.in/animate-it-documentation-wordpress.html#adding-animations-to-widgets

Animating using Shortcode:
Another, more easier way to add animation is directly using Animate It! button located on the text editor of you pages and posts. Step by step guide can be found here:
http://www.downloads.eleopard.in/animate-it-documentation-wordpress.html#adding-animations

Please feel free to let me know if you have any other queries.

Lastly, please don't forget to rate the plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/animate-it

Thanks for the reply,

The logo is not widgetised. It is uploaded on a theme's option panel with an image uploader, but the logo is not accessible from the widgets area.

Any suggestions?

Thanks for your help!

In that case you would have to edit the logo's div using an FTP client like Filezilla

I can look more into this if you could share you WP or FTP login info. If you can, please email in to info(at)eleopard.in
